Personas

Competitive Research

We looked at three competing brands for inspiration. Kahoot!, Jackbox Games, and Survey Monkey. In our synthesis of our competitive research we concluding we wanted to create a product that:

  • Included audience participation in a playful and delightful way

  • Considered how users interacted with questions carefully

  • Welcomed the user with an interface that shows it values their input

User Flow

Wireframes

After defining the user flow we began the wireframing process. Below is a selection of several of the wires that we worked on.

Reflections

Styleguide[ing]

  • The team and I were excited to get started on designing our final visual designs and overlooked making a formal styleguide before engaging in that process. Because of that some of our colors, fonts sizes, and iconography was not aligned across the devices. This delayed development as they had to go back and forth with us in order to figure out the correct design decisions.

Collaboration

  • Each designer on the team came with individual strengths and contributed to the final design. Our final visual design wouldn't have been possible without the contribution of each team member.
